About my aspiration

At Chaliceworks Turning, 

my aspiration is to provide exceptional Functional Sculpture  

Each bowl or platter I turn is individually designed and crafted to accent the wood grain and texture highlights. Many are traditionally turned on a single center axis and incorporate a variety of shape and edge designs. The specialty items are turned off center and off axis to create a multi faced outside surface with either a center inner surface or multiple inner surfaces that intersect and create visual textures of light and grain.
